Their  goal is to assist parolee’s with services in the community, help with some type of housing, assist in job search and teach them life skills. They believe in the Each One Reach One mentality of evangelism. Their leaders come for a place of incarceration to a place of miracles and blessings.

Your morning paper could become a thing of the past. With television blasting worldwide events as they happen and the internet available at each finger tip, print media is spiraling into extinction. Latest statistics reveal that few adults under the age of 50 ever read, much less subscribe, to a local newspaper. Even business is finding a better audience with internet advertising now available through the newspaper online service. That poses an interesting question. How many people are reading my newsletter article each month? For almost 6 years I have written a small article each month. I hope to someday gather the
better ones together into a daily devotional book. I think I will call it “Echo from the mountains.”One of the problems people have today with reading is the fact that there is only one-way communication. I’ve always hated that about “bumper stickers”. No one will stop and let me argue their position on the bumper sticker. Today we prefer interaction and discussion groups so we can get our “two cents” in on the topic. Someone once said to me, “The problem with your preaching is you don’t leave any room for another opinion”. I replied, “You’re right. When I am preaching it is not a debate club or diplomatic summit meeting. I am proclaiming. That is what preaching is”. Oh my! Don’t tell me preaching is going the same way as print media. Now I am in trouble. Does this mean in a few years they will quit listening all together? Have they already quit reading my articles? If they won’t listen and they won’t read how will we get the message of Christ into their
hearts? Well, they are getting other messages. Maybe the church had better rediscover how our world receives information. After all, we have the most important information to give them. Jesus loves them! OK- here is the deal. I am going to crunch the numbers. If you read this please let me know. If I don’t hear from you I will get the point.
